Sophie Kokott

Sophie Kokott (she/her) is a Canadian filmmaker who prioritizes collaboration as a creative practice, bringing together artists to tell original stories with a distinct point of view. Living in Montreal, Quebec, Sophie works as a VFX Production Manager, ensuring that the visual effects for film and television are scheduled and run efficiently. With her Floor Thirteen Films, she has produced, written, and directed two seasons of the web series Pieces (2018), and the short films The New Me (2020), Melted (2022), and Table Cards (2026). Sophie continues to refine her craft and foster a community through producing digital shorts, web series, and independent feature films.

Hayley Kokott

Hayley Kokott (she/her) is a queer writer living in Squamish, British Columbia, and the other half of Floor Thirteen Films. She is passionate about storytelling that challenges, inspires, and connects with audiences. A Registered Nurse by profession, Hayley brings sharp time management and calm decision-making to every production environment. Under Floor Thirteen Films, Hayley was a producer and writer for both seasons of the web series, Pieces (2018), and produced the short films The New Me (2020) and Melted (2022). Hayley brings a distinctive voice to each project, with a keen interest and focus on crafting character-driven films.
